Which title status should I choose?

Choose Active record if your book is available now, or Forthcoming if it isn't published yet. You'll find both under Suggested in the Title Status list.

If you choose Forthcoming with a future publication date, you can tick Switch to Active record on publication. We then change the status to Active record on that date.

To hide a book from Bookwire, set its status to Inactive or Withdrawn. Registration is permanent, so this is how you take a book off Bookwire.

Changing the status later

1. Open your book's page in the portal.
2. Under Publication & Pricing, click the pencil icon next to Title Status.
3. Choose the new status and click Save Changes.
