Who is Staten House?

Staten House is the publisher of record on every ISBN we assign. It's a publisher that works differently from most.

Many publishers offer a fixed package in exchange for a share of your royalties or a one-time fee. Staten House instead offers a menu of separate services through ISBNdirect, such as ISBNs, press release distribution and copyright filing, so you choose only the services you need. We don't own the copyright to your work, and we don't take royalties from your book.

Because Staten House is the publisher of record, books you register in our portal use exactly "Staten House" in the imprint field. See What should I enter in the imprint field?.
