Do I have to register my book?

No. You can use your ISBN without registering the book in our portal. The book then won't appear on Bookwire, the public ISBN database, and can't have a My Book Profile page.

Registering your book lists it on Bookwire within about 5 business days. It's the same single step as registering it with Bowker, the US national ISBN agency.

To register, see Register your book.
