After you submit your book in the ISBNdirect portal, it may take up to 5 days before the book becomes available in the Bowker Bookwire database.
Checking the status of your book's availability is a straightforward process. You can simply log in to our portal and navigate to the Books page. From there, locate your book and click on the "View Book on Bookwire" option next to the title. By doing this, you'll be redirected to the search results on Bookwire.com.
It's worth noting that even if your book is not yet available on Bookwire, you can still make use of the ISBN assigned to it. The ISBN is optional and does not rely on the book's profile being active on Bookwire. So, if you're eager to start utilizing your ISBN, go ahead and do so while you wait for your book to become available on Bookwire.
