Should I include the price in my barcode?

For most self-published books, no. Retail prices change, and a price in the barcode stays fixed on the cover. Add one only if your book sells in bookstores at a fixed printed price.

To add a price, choose ISBN with price barcode in the portal's barcode tool, select the currency and enter the price as it appears on your book. You can choose US dollars, Canadian dollars, British pounds or Australian dollars. The price is added as an EAN-5 add-on.
