Why isn't my book showing up for format linking?

A book only appears in the list when all of these are true:

• It's in the same ISBNdirect account.
• It's a different format of the same book, for example the ebook when you're on the paperback's page.
• Its title and subtitle match exactly.
• Its My Book Profile is active. The book you start from needs an active profile too.

If the titles don't match exactly, the books can't be linked. To correct a typo in a title or subtitle, see Can I correct a typo in my title, subtitle or author name?.

A book that's already linked to other formats still appears. Linking it merges both groups.

Linking formats

1. Open the My Book Profile tab of either book.
2. Under Settings, click the link icon next to Linked Formats.
3. Choose the other format under Book and click Link.

Linked formats appear on each other's profile pages.

Unlinking a format

1. Open the My Book Profile tab of any book in the group.
2. Under Linked Formats, hover over the format you want to unlink, or tap it on mobile, and click the ×.
3. Click Unlink.
